How Pocket Shutter handles uploaded originals, EXIF, anonymous analytics, file retention and deletion requests.

Prepare an original file

Processing covers the original file you choose to upload and embedded data such as EXIF, MakerNotes, body serial number or GPS. Review the file before uploading.

Original files are uploaded to the server for analysis. Successful files are currently retained in a restricted directory, with no fixed automatic deletion period. Submit deletion requests through Mini Program feedback.

Evidence

Anonymous analytics store only event type, page path, language, referring host and a hashed anonymous visitor identifier. They do not store filenames, photo content, serial numbers, GPS or search terms.

Originals are not published as web content and successful files remain in a restricted directory. Request deletion through Mini Program feedback and include the approximate upload time and camera model.
