How Pocket Shutter handles uploaded originals, EXIF, anonymous analytics, file retention and deletion requests.

Support boundary

Original files are uploaded to the server for analysis. Successful files are currently retained in a restricted directory, with no fixed automatic deletion period. Submit deletion requests through Mini Program feedback.

Evidence

Aggregated successful parses from Pocket Shutter production (no photo content is published). Mechanical shutter count, total shutter count and ImageCount are not interchangeable. Pocket Shutter shows the source field and confidence; ImageCount is a usage clue, not automatic proof of mechanical actuations.
